Event Description Prospect Heights Block Party is a collaboration between the City and Park District of Prospect Heights. Two bands are scheduled to perform during the one-day event Classical Blast and Serendipity. There will be a beer & wine garden in addition to several food trucks: Your Sister’s Tomato (wood fired pizza, etc.), Aunt Tina’s Sound Bites (burgers, bang bang shrimp, etc.) and Kona Ice. There is a Kids Zone with inflatable attractions, a gaga pit and a strolling juggler from RC Juggles. The Prospect Heights competitive dance team will perform. There will also be Bingo and a Pet Pageant. The Lions Club will be hosting their annual duck race fundraiser: ducks are numbered as they are sponsored, and they “race” down the water slide. Local agencies will be onsite to provide information about services such as Natural Resource Commission and Prospect Heights Public Library District.
