Starting in 2018, there are numerous changes to the Cook County Property tax incentive process (6b’s, 7 and 8s). In addition, the Cook County Assessor’s Office has made additional changes regarding vacancy relief and more definitive guidelines for Class 2-12 properties (“Mom and Pops” storefronts).
