Today, it trades above $8,000 per token with an all-time high of $20,000. The CME Group and Cboe Global Markets listed Bitcoin futures in December 2017.
Enthusiasts believe its underlying technology will innovate the way people to participate in the global economy; critics fear it will destroy the US Dollar and hamper our ability to control monetary policy.
